Sign up for a Ranger Guided Turtle WalkSebastian Inlet State Park is excited to announce our 2024 ranger guided Public Sea Turtle Watch Program. These educational turtle watches offer the public the possibility to witness a loggerhead sea turtle lay her eggs, cover and disguise her nest, crawl down the beach and swim away into the Atlantic Ocean. Turtle Watch Programs are available three nights a week, Wednesday - Friday, during the months of June and July. The program starts at 9 PM and may last until 1 AM. Participants may walk up to three miles in soft sand. The turtle walks at Sebastian Inlet State Park are a memorable experience that allow our guests to learn about, observe and hopefully see the nesting and egg-laying process of a loggerhead sea turtle. This year, walks are conducted on Wednesday - Friday nights between June 1 and July 31. Space is limited to 20 people per night. Reservations are required. Cost is a $15.00 donation per person, paid in advance, to reserve your space. NO REFUNDS this is a donation. You are responsible for your own transportation to the Sebastian Fishing Museum. Additional details will be provided once you have made a reservation. The turtle walk educational programs are conducted under a state permit and should not be attempted without a state permitted guide.
