MISSION STATMENTThe Friends of Sebastian Inlet State Park, Inc, is a non-profit 501 (C) (3) organization dedicated to supporting the park and its two museums. The organization enhances the state’s mission to provide and preserve resource-based recreation such as fishing, surfing and enjoying the outdoors. WHAT DOES FSISP DO?The FSISP supports the Park’s outdoor activities and local historical resources through volunteerism and fund-raising. The Friends work to promote and protect the park’s resource-based recreation, including: fishing, swimming, surfing, and hiking. We also endeavor to create awareness of the Sebastian Inlet State Park within our surrounding communities through community outreach. WHY DOES FSISP RAISE FUNDS?The FSISP financial support is crucial to the Park’s mission. Our contributions have a direct impact on the betterment of the Park. For example, we purchased a truck blade to grade the roads, handheld radios to enhance communication among staff and volunteers, and defibrillators for the safety of all our visitors. We also sponsor programs that acknowledge and recognize our volunteers. HOW WE RAISE FUNDS
